Explore Toronto with CityPASS – Save up to 50%

Toronto being a metropolitan city, there’s never a shortage of activities here. Summer is the best time to be out and about. Whether it’s hiking, sight seeing, going to museums or just enjoying the nightlife, Toronto has anything and everything you’d want to do.

Here’s a list of a few places you can check out at any time of the year!

CN Tower

No matter what time of the year or what time of the day or night it is, CN Tower will never disappoint you. It is 553 m high, located in Downtown Toronto, right across Lake Ontario. The CN Tower is quite tall, holding a record of the tallest free standing structure for 32 years. Currently it holds a position of the 9th tallest free standing structure. From the top of the tower, you will get a 360 panoramic view of the entire city. There’s a clear view of our beautiful lake Ontario during the day. At night you can see the entire city light up. If you want both views, you can easily get there just before sunset.

Hours: 8:30 am to 11 pm Everyday

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Looking for a date night? Or even just a group activity? Ripley’s Aquarium is the right place for you! It’s can be romantic, fun and educational. How can you possibly go wrong with this choice? It is also located in Downtown Toronto, right beside the CN Tower. You can do both on the same day if you are looking for things to do downtown. Ripley’s Aquarium takes 1.5 – 2 hours. My favourite part – the jelly fish!

Hours: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm Everyday

Royal Ontario Museum

The ROM is located in Downtown Toronto, near the University of Toronto. This is a good place to get lost at any time of the year. You can check out their events before you go. If you’re into the night scene you can also check out FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE at the ROM during summer.

10:00 am to 5:30 pm Mon to Sun

10:00 am to 8:30 Summer Fridays

Casa Loma

Toronto’s Majestic Castle. Location in midtown Toronto this place is a historic museum and a landmark. Casa Loma has a basement and three floors consisting of several rooms and several gardens. They have different events from time to time. Side note – they’ve hosted the scariest haunted house I’ve ever been to during Halloween!
